Uploading photos for a card

You can use your own photos on some of our cards. Once you’ve performed a search for cards and your results are displayed, you can then use the No/ Photo Uploads filtering options on the left-hand side of the page to find all matching Photo Upload cards. 

When you choose to personalise a card, you can then upload the photo(s) that you want to include. 

There will be two different ways to upload photos depending upon the software available on your computer. Most computers will use the first Flash version detailed below, others will use the HTML version also detailed below:

Uploading a photo(s) with the Flash version:

1. Click a photo area on the card, indicated by a grey outline which shows the word 'photo' when you hover over it.
2. Photo Upload options will appear on the left.
3. You can then click on the My Computer, flickr or facebook buttons depending on where you want to get your photo from. Alternatively you can click on the button which shows your previously saved photo albums from your hallmark.co.uk account
4. Once you have selected the photo you want to use itwill be automatically uploaded onto the photo area of the card.
5. You can now start to use the Edit Photo tools, which can be used to zoom, rotate, flip and even change the colour of your photo. Any changes you make will be automatically applied to the photo on the card itself.
6. If you are unhappy with your choice of photo, simply choose Select an Image within the Edit Photo area to choose another.
7. You can now continue to personalise the words used on the card in the same way as a card without photo uploads.

Uploading a photo(s) with the html version:

1. Click a photo area on the card, indicated by a grey outline which shows the word 'photo' when you click into it.
2. Photo Upload options will appear on the left.
3. Click the Change Photo button. A pop up screen will appear giving you options to upload from My Computer, flickr or facebook. Alternatively you can click on the button which shows your previously saved photo albums from your hallmark.co.uk account
4. Once you have clicked on the photo you want to use click the Select button and it will be automatically uploaded onto the photo area of the card.
5. You can now start to use the Edit Photo tools, which can be used to zoom, rotate and flip your photo. Any changes you make will be automatically applied to the photo directly above the Edit Photo tool and NOT on the card itself. Once you are happy with any editing click the Update button and your changes will be applied on to the card.
6. If you are unhappy with your choice of photo, simply choose Change Photo within the Edit Photo area to choose another.
7. You can now continue to personalise the words used on the card in the same way as a card without photo uploads.
8. Once you’re happy with your changes, you can do either of the following:

• Click Add to Basket to buy the card now.
• Click Save for Later to save the card to your Account in order to amend or buy it at a later date.
