Community

For us it is also about doing what we do in the right way. We’re one of the few card publishers who use fully accredited FSC® sources for our paper. We recognise our huge responsibility to care for the environment and how we can do something about it in the choices we make. Click here to find out more about our policies.

We also care about our local communities, giving every employee at least one day of paid leave to take part in volunteering activities each year. We’ve helped hundreds of projects from ‘Write to Read’ to creating gardens for Forget Me Not Children Hospice. We have also supported the Princes’ Trust ‘Million Makers’ Challenge, whereby a Hallmark team creates a product or event, writes a business plan and pitches to get £1,500 to create their idea. They then have just 6 months to turn their idea into £10,000 – eek! Last year our fabulous adult colouring book idea raised over £14,000 for the trust and won the regional finals.

Forever Friends is 30!

Hallmark’s adorable Forever Friends bear is celebrating a very special birthday this year as it turns 30 years old!
These adorable bears have been busy in the past 30 years, from being one of the most popular characters to feature on greeting cards to cuddly bears. They have a number 1 album to sing about, a host of animations, a book…oh and not to mention being world record holders, for the world longest group hugs! No wonder time has flown for these cuddly characters. To celebrate we have released a 30 year anniversary card collection.
